Client Email Server Upgrade

Dear Amazing Clients,

 

UPDATE: IF WE HOST YOUR MAIL, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR DOMAIN’S PRIMARY AND SECONDARY DNS PRIOR TO UPDATING YOUR MAIL SETTINGS.

 

This is an important message. Please print it for your records, and please forward it to your colleagues who may have an email BOX on our server. You have a box with us if you use a program like Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail, Etc, to access our server to retrieve your email.

  1. We’re upgrading your email account to our brand new server.
  2. There’s no cost to you.
  3. You’ll need to make a quick and easy change to your email program.

ACTION ITEM: UPDATE YOUR EMAIL PROGRAM

On Sunday, July 20th at 8 a.m. Eastern / 5 a.m. Pacific Time we will be moving your email account to our brand new server. You will NOT lose ANY messages, old or new. After the 15-minute move is finished, your old mail and new mail will be available on the new server. To access our new server, simply open your email program, go into the Accounts area, and edit your current account. Update your account AFTER Sunday, July 20th at 8A Easter / 5A Pacific, using the following information:

 

–Incoming Mail–

Hostname: faithinmarketing.mail.pairserver.com

Username: [your full email address i.e. email@yourdomain.com]

Password: [your current / same mailbox password]

SSL: On (for POP mail use Port 995)

 

–SMTP / Outgoing Mail–

Hostname: faithinmarketing.mail.pairserver.com

Username: [your full email address i.e. email@yourdomain.com]

Password: [your current / same mailbox password]

SSL: On (use Port 465 or 587)

DIRECTIONS FOR APPLE MAIL: Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts. Edit account.

DIRECTIONS FOR OTHER PROGRAMS: See the manual. But simply look for the accounts area, then edit and save.

P.S. When we move email accounts, we’re also moving websites to our new server. We will be providing you with a new Domain Name Server Address (DNS). It’s also a relatively simple and quick change. Please update your DNS prior to making and changes to your mail settings.
