Most people browse with Chrome

The most recent data from Net Applications shows that nearly 60% of people use Chrome to browse the web. At a distant second place is Internet Explorer with 15%. Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera and a few unknowns fill in the balance.

Since last fall, Chrome use has increased 5% while Internet Explorer has lost 8%. Edge has remained flat near 5% as the browser used.

People choose Chrome for its speed, security, and preference-syncing between many devices. It’s also the built-in browser for 90% of phones shipped in late 2016.

Faith in Marketing builds modern websites that can notify Chrome users of YOUR new articles, extending your IMPACT. A simple alert (see sample) shows up on the user’s desktop or mobile screen. Clicking the alert takes the user to the article on your website. It’s a beautiful thing.
